After 1 1/2 weeks we needed a change and found this on trip advisor. The sushi is fresh and the chef did demonstrate how to eat sushi as promised in the reviews I had read. What was not clear is that the restaurant is well off the beaten path, at least from our hotel in vieux ville. An 18 euro... More

We had the 55 EU/person tasting menu and it was amazingly great - a great fine-dining experience (wine not included). Great atmosphere, great service and beautiful setting.

Very fresh sashimi, sushi and salad. The service was efficient and friendly and the host even took time with you to show you which order the sushi should be eaten and with what sauces, which I thought was a nice touch. My husband had the bento box and I had the Ebi sushi combo, plus dessert each and a sparkling... More

Nice food - recommended. We had the bento box - was very fresh and well organized. If you like sashimi this is a good place to try.

The fish was fresh, the salads tasty and the decor quirky. I loved their miso soup. The only thing that spoiled this restaurant for us was the slow service.

My partner brought me here for our Valentines' day celebration after making advance reservation. Perhaps due to the special ocassion, reservation is absolutely necessary; while we were there, we saw at least 3 other couples being turned away without reservation since the restaurant were full. Various past experiences of expensive but average (or lower) quality Asian food made me avoid... More

We loved the decoration (for sure the most creative and original I have seen in a Japanese restaurant), the very nice service, the great sushis (some of them were the best outside Japan), and for the first time in a Japanese restaurant we had very very nice deserts. And all of this for a very affordable price.

Best raw fish in Lyon. The owner is a bit peculiar (he fed me with my own chopsticks) but if you can get past that you'll no doubt have a fine meal.

Agreeing with other reviewers, indeed the fish was impeccably fresh and probably the best to be had in Lyon. Fish aside, the approach was daunting as we were schooled in the 'right way' to eat our sushi. Despite having been to Japan five times, I patiently sat through my lesson by the chef about how to dip my fish, how... More

Welcome to the sushi master's den. It's decorated with natural, found wood bedecked with (very) dried flowers, hung with strings of LEDs, all reflected by the black glass ceiling. Every table has a note about the famous personage that occupied it on his/her pilgrimage to this sushi shrine. The sushi is simply fabulous; there is a limit to how good... More
