Went a couple of times there, food is good, nothing special but still tasty, friendly staff and fair prices.
They've got great breakfast for a reasonable price. Pancakes, scrumbled eggs, the works. Should give it a try!
We were there on a warm summer evening. The service was OK, but the food wasn't. I had a burrito, and the filling consisted of rice in a brownish - should have been meat - sauce. Tasteless and dull food. A disappointement. My wife had a salad that was OK.
This place almost qualifies as a one star joint, but at least one person in our party enjoyed the food. Overpriced, low quality fare - when ours was delivered the waitress was unaware of which dish was which.
The service was poor, not attentive at all. I waited during brunch for an eternity to place my order. (It wasn't busy at all) The menu is cute and has a variety of attempts at Mexican Cuisine but you'll be offended by their renditions. Portions are okay but still overpriced.
Frida Kahlo is standing attractive on the corner of a central crossroad (Lychner + Raumer) in the charming neighbourhood of Prenzlauerberg. The decoration absolutely meets the expectations that the name of the place implies while the multi-culti people working there are really attentive. Try all the way the caipirinha as well as fajitas! Delicious!
