We were looking for some Asian food and stumbled across Shi Mai. We initially thought this was an expensive restaurant because the decor was so nice compared to other Asian restaurants. We had the summer rolls, chicken pho and chicken bun. It was wonderful and wished it were closer to our hotel do we could go there again. Very affordable,...

The restaurant was next to my hotel (Radisson) and offered a wide range of asian dishes. The portion were rather large but nevertheless tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Too bad it shares it's entrance hall with the Aquadome and SKY sports bar, which doesn't make it a quiet place to eat.
The interior decoration was beautiful and cozy, but it was located inside an open mall so it was open to the aquarium (full of kids) right in the next room.
It wasn't such a good experience for us here, first they got us the wrong starter, then the curry chicken with coconut milk was spicy and it wasn't mentionned in...

Ate here on first night of our 2 night stay in early Jan 2013. Found by chance round the corner from our hotel (Radisson Blu). Friendly, prompt service, very tasty food. I ordered duck, b/f had mixed grill. Portion sizes ample for us both. Good value too, 2 mains, one juice and one beer came to less than 30 EUR....

Really enjoyed our meal here, the service was good and friendly. The food was delicious, enjoyed the starters, lots of crispy parcels and crackers with satay sauce . The crispy duck, with noodles and red curry was needed after a snowy days walk around the city. Central location, very close to our hotel in Alexanderplatz.
Been there twise, in summer when we found a calm corner - it was a hot day! We were there with the children 7&8 years, and they sad it was the best food ever. Childrens portions were great as the grownups. To day it is snowing, and it was cosy and warm. Quick servings, fantastick tastes. It is a GOOD...

I had lunch at Shi-Mai and the food was very good. It's a great place to stop by for lunch. Decent size portions and very tasty food.
Very good authentic Vietnamese food. Dom't go there if looking for mainstream Asian dishes Generous portions at reasonable price. Interior is basic and bit dated, but as the place was packed it did not really matter.
We found this to be a pleasant, fresh air eating place. Ihad a noodle dish with grilled pork, and veggies. My husband has glass noodles with shrimp and veggies. We enjoyed and tasted each others lunch! The noodles with pork was the best. A tall dark beer and we were set!
