We come here often with a larger group since this restaurant offers good value for reasonable prices. It is not a "fancy" gourmet place, but it offers good quality pasta, meat and fish dishes, always fresh and tasty. They also make pizza, but I would not go there for that. Service is very friendly and efficient.

Went once based on a very very high recommendation from a gourmet, gastrophile regular acquaintance of mine. Was pretty non-plussed I must confess. Maybe my expectations were too high. Just ok, really nothing special. Maybe I'm a Philistine?

For many years, Rafael has served the best food, in the friendliest and most comfortable manner possible. A perfect beginning to a trip to Bonn, is to dine with Rafael, fill yourself with delicious food and drink, and retire to your lodging completely satisfied.

This restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent. We had the pizza special, pasta bolognese and the pasts carbonara. The service was great but the English language was limited at best. Like most places in Germany, they do not take credit cards. Be prepared and bring cash.
