Only stayed 2 nights and headed for the same restaurant second night, following exceptionally good meal and friendly service, the first night, On the second night I was greeted by name as I entered, by Paco who made sure that one of the waitresses, Rosio, guided me to my reserved table. Whereupon, a combination of the waiter, Jorge and waitresses,... More

The Carmen Mirador is a little difficult to find, but there is a sign on the main road and that’s part of its charm. It’s the average Spanish menu served well enough. But the real draw for this place is that it is an outdoor mirador: a belvedere to see the Alhambra. From where we sat it was somewhat obscured... More

We were in the neighborhood on our one and only night in Granada and followed the TripAdvisor advice. Just look at that view! So homey and outstanding food. We just started walking up one of the narrow stairways up the hillside and stumbled upon it in the quiet little neighborhood. I loved the fact that the house had belonged to... More

We had dinner here to celebrate my birthday because we wanted a "special setting" and we were not disappointed. The entrance from the street doesn't look like much but, wow, the restaurant itself is beautiful. The tables are comfortably placed and you don't hear conversations from other diners; the view of Alhambra, lit up at night, is breathtaking. I had... More

I had lunch at this marvellous restaurant. The view of the Alhambra is great, but also the restaurant itself is very good. It offered wide range of food, and everything was excellent. The staff were very helpful and serviceminded. The best place I visited in Granada.

This was recommended to us by Francisco at Oliva. Being a cook himself and a connoisseur of local cuisine, I trusted his recommendation, and he was absolutely right. The restaurant offered a great view of the Alhambra. Normally, when you visit such a tourist spot, you would expect to pay for the view and not the food. No so in... More

Carmen Mirador de Axia was suggested by the hotel receptionist at Santa Isabel Real who kindly reserved a table on my behalf. It was a Saturday evening and the table was reserved for 8.30pm which by Spanish standards is quite early. We arrived on time and I wasn't surprised to find we were the first there. It was a cold... Had a very strange experience with this place. I made a booking online the weekend before going for 9pm. During the week I received four missed calls from the place (as I was at work). When I called back they asked me to confirm the booking, despite having emailed them and received a reply confirming the booking already. Then we... More

We spent lunchtime here, staring at the amazing view (haven't seen a better one of the Alhambra yet) and repeating how great all our food was. The food was original and incredibly tasty, the wine interesting and delicious as well. Great service. Not the cheapest around, but great value, worth every penny if you look at the ingredients, quality and... More

We stumbled into this restaurant, and were treated to a fantastic view, good food, good wine, and friendly staff! The photograph shown for this restaurant is really the view from their outdoor patio. One thing: the restaurant is a little pricey. For me: totally worth it! It's not outrageous, but if you are traveling on a budget then... it might... More
