I like that this is an unpretentious, non tourist trap restaurant. It's really reasonably priced, and would be great for a larger group of friends. The food is nice and different; I had a hot dog (the name I can't recall) and fries. Sauces were good, but over exaggerated in other reviews. My friend had a burger without the bun... More

Good food and really good prices as well as friendly staff. Only downside is the size of the plates (small) as opposed to the size of the burgers (huge) made for messy eating!! Atmosphere is a bit dark, could do with a few lights on the tables....but maybe thats on purpose due to the messy eating......... More

Hi lucyperez67, Thank you for your nice review on Devil's Kitchen! We normally don't serve the hamburgers on plates - they come usually on a wax paper when you eat at the bar, or wrapped in paper. This allows you to eat as messily as you want! Only when a plate is required (for example if the burger needs to... More

Went for dinner and got a burger and currywurst. Prices are good but exept for the burger it was not a lot too eat. I am from germany and have had way better. Staff is very nice on the other hand, i will probably give it another chance. More

Dear guantutri4, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Devil's Kitchen! As a German, you sure are used to a much bigger variety on German food. So are we! But keep in mind: in Germany, you can find the ingredients, sausages etc. on every corner, and very cheap. Here in Spain we lack of some of... More

First, google maps directions will get you lost. I forget the correct way, just be wary. This place is fantastic. Cheap prices and fantastic food. Best food I had in Barcelona (sorry, Spaniards). Back room has an enormous projector where they play German soccer games. Beer is great. Owner is awesome! More

We went here to eat based on the reviews we read. It took us 30 mins to find the place and right when we were about to turn back we spotted it. According to the owner, the map doesn't locate the restaurant very well. The fries were amazing!!! Best I have ever had. The owner was very nice, he offered... More

My girlfriend and I are from the US an have been missing burgers and fries. Hands down, best hamburger and fries either of us have ever had and best service. The chef, who is from Boston an spent 10 years in Germany, talked us through the menu and gave us a description of each of his 7 home made sauces... More

We visited the Devilt's Kitchen in the early evening and we were the first customers for the night. The owner was behind the counter and made us feel very welcomed from the start. We had a Burger and a chicken Quesadilla and they were both excellent. We spent a week in Barcelona and this was the only restaurant that we... More

Walking around Raval we saw this restaurant and honestly we hesitate few times before entering. Finally one day, meanwhile they were recommended in a local list of tapas tour, we did it and we discovered one of the best burgers in town, simple and good, with no pretentious sauces to cover the real taste of meat or bread. They put... More

Dear lahisa, thanks a lot for your fabulous comment on Devil's Kitchen! You described the food exactly as we like it too: simple and good! The home made spicy sauces (diablo and infierno) are meant as an additional flavor, also not to be used to cover up the taste of the meat. As for the Bionade: We are one of... More

We visited here during the day so it was empty apart from us, but the barman/ owner seemed like a lovely fella. We had burgers and hotdogs and all were really delicious, and fantastic value. This place is hard to find and is not in a great area, but you'd admire the owners for this place, liked it! More
