Located just off piazza garibaldi, this place serves up the best pizza in Napoli. The place has a real homely feel to it and at only 6 euros a pizza is great value. With great service to match this place is a must when in Napoli.

Simply superb pizza, generous toppings in a true naples style pizza. The dough was soft fresh and cooked to perfection not a burnt bit in sight like sometimes back home. I had a traditional margarita, tomato base was superb with the finest cheese and just hint a of oil. The best pizza in the land!!!
Ate here twice. Both meals consistently good, not a poor dish amongst them.
This is an unpretentious place with simple Italian staples done well. The place is family run, with real pride. On our last night we shared the tasting starter (first item on the menu). About a dozen little dishes, some of which were really special.
Prices are very...

This is a very friendly restaurant and it feels like it's typical of Naples. The staff were very attentive during our two visits, and the food was really tasty. Good bruschetta, great pizza, fresh salad and the house red wine goes very nicely with it! Perhaps more could be on offer for non meat-eaters?
I had dinner here twice during my stay in Napoli. I simply cannot find the words to describe the wonderful welcome I received. The staff are brilliant. The food even better. This is a must stop when you're in Naples. Visited by tourists & locals alike. I even recognized two parties of people from the previous visit. As another reviewer...

We went here for dinner whilst staying in Naples after reading reviews on here and it being fairly near our hotel. We both had really lovely meals, the best bruschetta! And amazing pizzas. Everyone in there were really friendly and I would definitely recommend to go there when in Naples.
My husband and I visited Naples for 4 days last week and to b honest were not that impressed. It is sadly, full of graffiti, rubbish and undesirables.
After reading that its one of Italy's big culinary hitters we struggled to find restaurants. Maybe this was because we were out of season? Anyway, after trailing through trip advisor we came...

Do not ask for the meny. Ask for Ciro’s advise and follow him on your taste journey. We wanted seafood meals and wine and we wanted them to be “piatti tipici di Napoli”… And we got more than that. The wine was excellent. The meals were perfect – starters consisting of combination of salty and sweet flavors continued by shells,...

If you are a tourist and you are looking for a restaurant around Naples railway area, chance are that you stumble upon a rip off. This is definitely not the case for Trattoria da Donato.
In a very run down location there is a real jewel of Neapolitan traditional cuisine.
My personal experience with this restaurant was absolutely positive. Linguine...

Walking from the train station i had some concerns about the neighborhood. Once inside, however, all was well. The owner is very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. (There is no English translation.)
The restaurant features traditional Neapolitan dishes, including very good pasta (especially seafood pasta) and pizza. Pizza has a thick crust, which is delicious.
Everything is very...
