We had the opportunity to have a vey nice dinner. Il Drappo was recommended by a Roman colleague, and he was 100% right We would certainly recommend y The antipasti from the house, excellent suckling pig. Very friendly service and quick, great advice on wine

I had supper at Il Drappo mid February and really enjoyed my visit. I let Valentina the owner decide our meal and it was exquisite. Just tell her fish or meat and let your taste buds enjoy the rest. The local is charming, the service discret, and again the food divine.

We went to Il Drappo for my birthday, recommended by some friends who claimed it was amazing. Such expectations were not met, but there is a lot to like...particularly when looking at the value for money proposition: Good: - Charming, personal service - Small and intimate space - Lots of locals - Interesting Sardinian dishes we had never tried -... Every visit to Rome includes a visit to il Drappo. Signora Valentina has a wonderful restaurant to which she adds her personal tenderness and soul. I first visited il Drappo 20 years ago and today you can still feel the pride and taste the goodness of this wonderful small treasure!

Just nothing special with poor service and absurdly cramped seating. Mussels and clams were good, but no clams. Gnochi in sausage sauce used dried store bought gnochi and had a fairly thin sauce, duck was nothing special, fish soup and pork were very good and veal meatballs were good, veal with sardinean perfume was a tiny portion of veal with... Hidden at the Vicolo del Malpasso, this family owned restaurant has it all, elegance, ambiance, GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE, fantastic ratio price/value and maintained quality. I have been returning for more than a decade and it has become a favorite of many colleagues and friends. Reservations are necessary, is not for dropping in crowds, but you will be back!

We were a bit disappointed In this restaurant based upon the Trip Acdvisor ratings. The menu and wine list are both limited to Sardinian offerings. What we ordered was good, but the selection was just different. Lovely setting. Also, this restaurant is difficult to find.

Excellent food and wines from Sardinia in a romantic atmosphere. Very helpful waiters. It is situated in a truly roman area very near the most tourist Rome.

It is a very romantic setting. It does not feel touristy at all. The wait staff was friendly, which is not the norm in Rome. Each course was delicious all the way to the dessert. The pasta was perfectly al dente. It was our favorite meal of our Italy trip. It was also recommended by our hotel.
