Gelato is one of the must-have foods in Italy, taking its place at the top of the dessert choices. Well, we saw a throng of people spilling from inside the shop while strolling back to our hotel. Looking like many locals enjoying their cones, we immediately made a bee-line across the street to give it a try. Well, this gelato... More

Gracchi is highly rated place and it seems to be the spot for many of the locals. They don't offer more than 15 different kinds off gelato but what they do offer they do it real well. This place seems to be more of the artisan kind of experience when eating gelato. I had gelato here twice in 3 days... More

My family visited this wonderful place the Monday after Easter. It was not busy at all! I couldn't make up my mind, so I was able to try as many flavors I I wanted. I must have tried at least 5- not little, tiny spoonfuls, but heaping, delicious bites. I settled on the melon flavor and a sweet cream flavor.... More

This place is famous. You actually have to get a number and wait for your number to be called. It is that busy and loved by locals. Unfortunately it is not close to any tourist spots and one has to make an effort to find the place. More

Only flavors made when the related fruit or ingridient is in the right season (i.e. strawberry flavor from march to june, only). This is the strongest side of this gelato place with a special care for its products. I think they recruite their workers only if they never smile, had been military trainer (so to keep the line moving) or... More

I tried this ice cream out since it was recommended on Trip Advisor and the NY Times. However, it was not as good as San Crispino, Giolitti or Fassi. I came there on Monday easter so probably that's the reason I didn't have to take a number (like in other people's review). However, the ice cream was just not as... More

I had some gelato here on a recent trip on the recommendation from someone who lives in Rome. This seems to be the place where locals go for their gelato and that's always a good sign. We had to take numbers and there was a bit of a wait even though it was early for dessert but it was worth... More

It was rather busy when we arrived but the service was quick. We tried to mandarin sorbet, and pistachio, hazelnut, and dark chocolate gelato. All were delicious. Fresh, natural ingredients and a good selection of flavours. Prices were very reasonable as well; €2.50 for a medium cone. More

I Gracchi are a successful gelateria nested a few metres away from via Colonna; they offer fabulous ice cream, sorbet and ice-cream treats with fresh, seasonal ingredients that often exclude dairy products, eggs and wheat in favour of intolerant-friendly replacements. The chocolates are to die for, as usually are the fresh fruit sorbets, which multiply in the summer season and... More
