I ate fish that was very fresh, well cooked but nothing special. The portions were decent but not abundant. The grilled shrimps had sand and when I told the waiter that, he replaced them with a double portion. Bravo!!! Risotto was interesting but the flavour was a little bit too smooth in my personal opinion. Good wine list: the owner... More

Visited Rome in May to celebrate my partner's birthday. I chose the Eleonaora through the Trip advisor reviews and from it's location close to our hotel. I contacted Francesco via email to ask if he could do anything special for my partner's birthday. He was very responsive and he accomodating. He organised for flowers to be on the table (free... Oh my God. Just amazing. We went for lunch while walking back to our hotel and were so glad we found it. We were offered glasses of prosecco when we sat down which just started off the experience. The Sardinian flatbread was the next fabulous offering. We shared a plate of octopus for starters (yum), then hubby had half a... More

Excellent food, great atmosphere. Combination of locals and some tourists, but food is 100% authentic.

After reading reveiws we booked this restaurant by email. To celebrate our 40th anniversary. The staff were effective and attentive. Although they do serve meat dishes. I would recommend one of their wide range of sea food dishes.I had hoped to have lobster, but they were sold out,our their large sea prawns were very good (can't remember what they were called)... This place was exactly what we wanted for our last evening in Rome. Set in a lovely neighborhood, it is certainly a place "locals" frequent and not a tourist restaurant. We were greeted with smiles, great food (large menu), and loads of extra goodies such as a tasty seafood salad, bruschetta, cookies, and a drink at the end of our... More

Giving this restaurant 5 stars does not do it justice. I wish I could have given it 6! Having read so many fine reviews of this place I was worried that I was setting my family up to be disappointed. Absolutely not the case! It surpassed our expectations by a factor of ten. After the complimentary prosecco and Sardinian bruschetta.... More

We ate here twice during our week in Rome - on the first and last nights. We stopped by without a reservation on the first night and were lucky to get a table. The place seemed really busy but this did not affect the service at all! We were greeted with a complimentary glass of prosecco - which was a... More
