Great little restaurant in a hidden part of Rome. Definitely not the traditional type of Italian food but a bit more on a adventurous side. Enjoyed every bite of it though. Great wine selection and reasonable prices. Also, very attentitive waiters that make the visit a true culinary experience.

I lived in Rome for almost a decade and have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the city - and you really are spoilt for choice in a city like this - but Mavi is truly outstanding. We got five different pastas and shared them. I genuinely couldn't tell you which was best, they were all exceptional After... More

We tried this restaurant as we were staying at the H10. The menu was in Italian, fair enough. When the waiter was translating everything was 'just fish' or 'beef'... I ended up with tempura prawns (nice) in an overpowering miso soup (disgusting). My sister had raw seabass ... Mains and dessert were nice but nothing to rave about. The most... More

Like many other reviewers we were staying at the H10 hotel just around the corner and decided to find somewhere local. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, it's not pretentious or over done just simple and an appealing place to while away an evening. As many others have said the menu is only in Italian but the staff are more... More

The food starting from the appetizers to the dessert was tasteful and unique. They were well prepared and the service was friendly and pleasant. The menu was in Italian but the staff will be more than happy to translate and explain the menu to you.

appetizer was impressively good we had the tuna tartar very nicely merged with passion fruit. main courses were creative and taste ok. our humble thoughts are: suggest they could add a bit more pineapple capaccio to the chicken tempura as it was a bit dried. :) the monk fish was tasty with good mix of eggplant and other flavoring. we... What an amazing place! Truly service minded staff. So polite and customer friendly. If there is a down side it would be that the menu is only Italian, but to be honest that didn't matter much as the waiter would gladly go through the whole menu piece by piece and ingredient by ingredient, by the table. I have nothing but... More

I read about this place on here after using TA to check out places to eat near the hotel we were staying in. This place got great reviews so we decided to eat here on our final night in Rome. We were not disappointed the staff are great explaining the Italian menu to us single language speaking Brits. The food... More

Food was top notch, not the cheapest but a fair price none the less. Amazing taste and good staff.
