I never stop returning to Da Fabio when in Bologna. Now the grandson keep the lever high and you can't be disapointed. The best in Bologna.
Thanks to advice from my language teacher we first discovered this restaurant in 2006. The service was so very friendly, the serving style so generous (no menu) that this was a unique experience. We felt like we were guests in someone's home rather than in a restaurant. You'll need to book early.
If you have been in Bologna and haven't been in Restaurant: <<You have lost the taste of Bologna>> Absolutely tasty food Excellent Customer Service Great atmosphere in the Restaurant Highly recommended What will be the must to do list before you go to this restaurant 1. Book it far in advance, as it is constantly full 2. Make sure you... More
an excellent restaurant. It is expensive for Bologna but not on an international scale. There is no menu instead the waiter tells you what is on the list for today. The servings are generous and one needs stamina to get through the four course offerings, The anti pasta s a meal in itself but one can call quits at any... More
We heard via friends in Holland about this restaurant otherwise we would never have found it. Friendly staff, very good service, the food is fantastic, eating there is an experience no menu , excellent starters, pasta, meat etc and the deserts are fantastic a bit a feeling like being in deserts heaven ;-)
Our hotel recommended this restaurant which was close to our hotel. From the outside you wouldn't even know this was a restaurant. It is a lovely cosy place with good service. No menu, you are simply talked to about the options. The antipasti selection was incredible - literally 9 plates of different items were placed on our table including mortadella... More
This was a very unusual meal for us. Usually, we go to restaurants in Italy and have one course; wine, and then maybe an espresso. This restaurant exists to give you as much food as possible to eat, for a prix fix of €50.00 per person. The antipasto (filling enough for a meal in itself) was very good, highlighted by... More
If you can afford it you have to go to this restaurant at least once. It is a bit hidden away, about 10-15 minutes walk from the main piazza but well worth seeking out this hidden treasure. The interiors are elegant in a rustic way. I have eaten here twice - you have to make a booking a couple of... More
antipasti a go-go...e dolci idem!
