From a rather unpromising start down a dark alley off one of the main squares, this proved to be an amazing place. It was recommended to us and if you don't book there could be a long wait. We were the only tourists there and the clientele were a great mix of young and very grand Genoese, which is always... More

The trattoria Rosmarino serves an interesting mix of traditional local dishes (such as trofie with pesto) and more modern ones (the tuna cooked in two different ways). Everything tasted delicious, the service was excellent, the wine they recommeded was really good - overall, I'd recommend this to anybody.

For such a classy place the prices are very reasonable. The presentation of the plates is magnificent. I've been here several times and might go back again hoping to get something that is more flavorful. Everything I've had so far has been a bit bland and the lasagna last night must have been the last piece because it was dried... More

this place is always full and I can see why. Excellent atmosphere, interesting menu and great service. You will almost certainly need to book in advance. The menu is rustic original italian dishes especially ligurian. The staff are knowledgable and very helpful so if you dont understand the dish or its contents just ask for explanation, their english in the... More

The most helpful host, a romantic atmosphere and the most wonderful local produce and wine - would particularly recommend their octopus and calamari and would definitely return

Not so big menu written by hand on the board on the wall in Italian, so the waiter comes to you to translate a menu and if you need adding in short description of whole preparation process and ingredients. The dishes are rather small so it's worth to take several positions to taste this delicious food and finally feel full.... More

My husband and I ate here on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews and were very happy with our meal! For first courses, I had the Lasagna Rosmarino and my husband had Cannelloni Settie (think it was squid ink pasta sheet based on color and flavor). The Lasagna was delicious, topped and filled with a very flavorful meat mixture. The Cannelloni... More

The food is made complicated. The service provides each guest personally on the menu. It is served like a king. At the end there was a short drink on the house. So overall a fantastic kitchen, great staff and a great atmosphere.

Rosmarino was recommended to me by a Genovese colleague of mine. The dishes we tried that day were really good (I remember tuna and some pasta dishes) and the service was good. The cuisine is Genovese food but with an interesting modern twist to them.
