Nice location in Brera with fast service. But dishes 1-5 € more expensive than similar places. All food was fresh and well prepared.
We went to El Beverin Frau to try their aperitivo or happy hour as they call it. We were told that we could eat from the buffé with different kinds of Italian "tapas" and have one drink each and pay 8€, which sounds like a really good deal. The place is very attractive (low temperature in mid summer). The price of pizzas was fair, but we were surprised of the colas price, which by our mistake we did not ask their price bafore ordering. 3.5 euros each colas is an outrageous price (at an equal price we coulf order a bottle of wine).
We went there after our visit to pinacoteca brera. I had a pasta with red sauce and basilico was very good and the ambience traditional. there is also a room downstairs but don't go, it is near to the toilet door. the full name is ''el beverin frau''
Stopped here for lunch while passing thru the brera district of milan, staff and service was good, beers pricey compared to back home, pizza was good, shared 1 pizza, and had 2 beers for â¬24, that included a 2⬠cover charge per person aswell,
Very nice bar with a cosy atmosphere in the center of Milan. The coffee is superb and the staff is polite and very professional. They have many different tipes of panini anc cocktails. From 18 to 22 is the happy hour time with a large buffet of free food.
3 stars - I liked it stopped here last night and had dinner. The food and prices were good, a nice selection from the typical Italian food. Not bad at all, maybe worth checking out if you are in the area.
