This is a small family-run restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming though the space appears a bit tight, the few tables fill early (reservations highly recommended). The food is traditional Piemontese home-style cooking, high quality, tasty, carefully prepared. We specially liked beef tongue with a delicate red sauce as an appetizer, satisfying cheese gnocchi as first course and dared to order... More

Good food, friendly service, great wine and all good value for money. Traditional, low key restaurant. Will definitely be back next time we're in Torino.

L'Acino was one of my favorite, probably #1 place I had dinner while visiting Turin, Italy. We tried to make reseverations for a second night but it was full. Reservations are a must! It is a smaller, cozier restaurant, however don't be turned away by its size. The food and service was excellent! I ordered the beef stew, which was... More

We loved the friendly wait staff, who chatted with us despite being busy (this place doesn't have many tables and is always busy, so book a table or come early) the tasty, local, rustic dishes and the low prices.

Can't say enough nice things about our dinner at L'Acino. The owner told us that there were no tables free. When we asked for recommendations of things in the neighbourhood, he looked at our two, pre-school aged kids and turned to someone out back and asked if they could make something work. Make it work, they did. Boom: out came... More

Delicious Italian food and wine with about 5 starters and mains to choose from. Good and friendly service in a cosy atmosphere. It's pretty small but they managed to squeeze us in. Reasonable prices.

We were group of 8 people and we had a pleasant evening with good wine and good food. Since we were a big group we seated in a room, downstairs. The decoration was nice as well. We shared some antipastas which were all delicious. Specifically, steak tartare. Wine list was sufficient with a normal standard of price.

The owner himself seated us and served our table. He recommended truly excellent wines by the glass which at the end of the meal were most inexpensive and great pairings. The food was very typical of the region and was well presented and very tasty. No mass produced turistic food here. All the other tables in the restaurant were obviously... More

The place is small but the quality is outstanding! Be it the quality of wine, food or hospitality. It is an absolute highlight to eat there and to enjoy a glass of nice local wine. The owner is the most welcoming person I have met and let you feel “at home”. His suggestion of wine was fantastic and the food... More
