The service is amazing and the food is delicious. The place is teeming with locals, and its customers are spilling onto the street even past 10pm! Highly recommend.

We've just visited again after we stumbled on this amazing bar in 2010. Sandwiches to die for, and huge at 5-7€! Great selection of wines, well priced or self service at 2€. Great atmosphere, mixture of locals and tourists. Staff are amazing, chatty and helpful with wine and sandwich advice. Serve yourself wine and nibbles, remember what you've had and...

Excellent wine, great service, amazing panini's, fantastic atmosphere, and brilliant people watching. What more could you ask.
My wife and I first found this place 3 years ago on a road trip around Italy. We are doing the same thing again and decided to make a diversion (and an overnight stay) to visit again. If anything, the place has got...

This osteria is right in the heart of Venice. The focaccia is excellent. I asked for a roast beef sandwich made with whatever ingredients they thought would be good. They gave me a great combination of meat, vegetables, spicy spread and herbs. I also had a glass of very nice chianti.
We took a fellow trip advisor's advice and went at noon. No queue, just great sandwiches, nice wine and the guys serving are charmers. A sunny day and a couple of stools to sit and watch the world go by, made a very happy moment.
Worth the hype and the line (which wasn't so bad when we got there - but doubled by the time we left). This was a seriously delicious panino. No set sandwiches on the menu, so you may want to think about what you're going to eat while waiting on line. We went with prosciutto, buffalo mozz, truffle oil, sweet peppers,...

We found this place from TripAdvisor and decided to see what was the hype about. It was easy to find as it is located just behind the Uffizi Gallerie. Walk down the alley and there will be a queue going to this sandwich bar. We couldn't decide what to take as the selection is vast and just told the workers...

Just round the back of the Ufizzi is this amazing little wine bar. €2 a glass of red wine if you 'self service' outside, €3 if you (try and) sit inside. Other better quality wines available by the glass (I had the Fontodi Chianti Classico which was excellent at €7 a glass). And the sandwiches..... on lovely bread with great...

Check it out if you love wine! Great atmosphere right in the heart of the city. It's always busy so come early!
My husband and I decided to try this place after reading all the great reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. We arrived around 4:30 pm and there were only a couple of people ahead of us. We asked for two sandwiches, one spicy and one with lots of meat. The spicy sandwich was amazing with a gorgonzola spread, arugula,...
