A break from the common pastas. The most tender pork and lamb dishes. Friends also tried the phesant and truffle ravioli, which they loved. Tiny, intimate family owned restaurant. Wonderful! My teenage daughter says, " the best meal in the trip"

Acquacotta was recommended to us by our hotel, and proved to be a good choice. It is small and far enough from the city centre, so that many of those dining there are local. It is not cutting edge trendy, but is a traditional family run place. We started with asparagus gratinee and an artichoke salad with cheese, then continued...

This restaurant is a Florentine gem that serves wonderful Tuscan food. It is a family run business and they really care about the quality of the food and service they provide. The restaurant is cozy and you can almost walk right past it without seeing it so be sure to look for it. Be sure to try the fabulous roasted...

This is my first review ever for any restaurant. Acquacotta made me finally write my first review. Acquacotta is simply an amazing restaurant a small family run , I have to admit the first time walking in I was not too sure that it would be nothing short of excellent. It is simple, mostly filled with locals and the food...

Liked everything we ate so much that we returned repeatedly during our stay in Florence to sample other dishes and we were delighted each time. The service was excellent.
It was a pleasure eating here. Ella is a nice and competent waiter. The restaurant has a calm atmosphera. When you look out in the kitchen, you get the same feeling. Food was great, so was the wine. We booked a table for tomorrow before leaving. Thank you Ella !
Nothing overly amazing or nothing horrible. Decent restaurant, a bit farther from the main tourist area (extra 5-10 mins walk). Appetizer was okay, pasta was good, main was okay (a bit overpriced). Service was good no complaints but could definitely find a better place for the same price. Atmosphere was nothing, no music small plain white restaurant.
Great food & the best service. We were the first ones there at almost 8 pm but it quickly filled up. Our host let us speak in Italian and was very attentive.
