This was my husband and mine favourite place to eat in Florence when we stayed there. The quality of the food was amazing. So fresh and the ingredients had such wonderful favours. The portion sizes where very generous and the staff always helpful. The best surprise happened when the bill arrived. Best value for money in town

Great place for quality cold cuts and Chianti with a smile. A genuine smile. With no secret bread and water tax. Try the vino santo e cantucci for dessert it's a winner!

If you want light lunch and love meat and cheese this is for you. 7 of us ate, had a big board full of meats and cheeses with bread. Cost 10 euros a head without drinks. It's honest food and not a fancy restaurant, we were sat in the old loos at the back with a door for a table.... More

Excellent food, great advices and friendly service. The quantity is there along with the quality, and the price is quite OK.

I'm actually sitting in the restaurant right now! Wow! Wow! Wow! My boyfriemd and I are so pleased with our lunch I had to write a review on the spot! The staff is super friendly and helpful, it's self serve because technically they are not a restaurant, as they have no license. However once you have ordered at the counter... More

Dear beautiful Kelly, we are so glad you enjoyed your meal and our humble wanna-be restaurant! All our products are from the green hills around florence (except for the wine which is from all italy along). And of course the waiter was well-informed about the food: we test them hardly every week about new and old products and if they... More

The salami platter was incredible. She custom tailored our selection to our taste. Many wines by the glass to choose from - all $3. We met several groups of people and had a great time. This is a must-visit.

No frills, just good food. This is a cool place to enjoy Parma ham and cheese which is served on a wooden board. Water comes free of charge from a tap. Loved it.

I can only say that I loved this modest and wonderful place. In total we've visited 5 cafes-restaurants for 1.5 days in Florence, but I still remember the atmosphere of this one. The food was very good and fresh, the service - excellent! Next time I'm there I'll definitely go again. Forgot to mention that the prices are fair. Sorry... More

Had the porchetta sandwiches after a morning at the Uffizi - very salty but overall did not disappoint. Sandwiches prepared fresh, you get your choice of bread and can add toppings/spreads if you want but totally unnecessary given how flavorful the meat was. Grab LOTS of napkins, our hands were covered with grease by the time we'd finished. Much less... More

No line. Room to sit. Friendly staff. Delicious meat and cheeses. Ask the butcher to prepare a meat and cheese board for you. There was a gorgonzola and truffle spread to die for.
