We were looking for somewhere to eat dinner away from the Piazza del Campo tourist traps & the one we had in mind was closed; this was nearby & had a few couples inside so we decided to give it a try. Quite modern décor, service casual but friendly, and food good. Thumbs up!

Small neighbourhood restaurant, around the corner from the duomo. Excellent service and a good house red. I had the eggplant tarte as starter, beautifully presented with a twisted 'rope' of buffalo mozzarella. Good pasta as well. Lots of locals eating there, not so touristy.

My husband and I were strolling around looking for a place to have lunch before returning to Livorno and the ferry home. This was a wonderful find. Out of season it was quiet - which is what we like and the food was fantastic. Every mouthful was a delight. I cant remember the names of most of the dishes but... More

I've made reservations for a Sunday lunch at Osteria del Gusto, just before a football match. We are Italian and therefore not in the mood for the "typical touristic places", but rather a traditional/Italian way of lunch. The Osteria del Gusto is perfect for this: no tourist-meals, just genuine Tuscan food. Even though it is “only” an osteria, the dishes... More

Delicious lunch at a centrally located restaurant in Siena. Oredered a variety of dishes with fellow diners and everyone was very pleased with food.

After three glorious weeks of great meals in Italy, we thought we couldn't be impressed anymore, but this restaurant was a terrific find. Modest prices, modern Italian ambiance, artistic presentation and delicious plates surprised us. We shared the plate of house appetizers (and wished we'd ordered another!) and our meals of the pici, the beefsteak, and rabbit were just divine.... More

On our daytrip to Siena, we found this restaurant really by accident. The decoration makes the restaurant not very cozy but we were really surprised by the quality of the food! We were 5 and all enjoyed our dishes from the beginning to the end! We had an excellent service and the owner suggested us a good white wine. Even... More

Sorry tried this and was not that impressed. It looks really nice from the outside and the food is okay, nothing more in my view. Plastic bottles of water was a bit off putting and the wine choices somewhat restricted. The place also lacked atmosphere. Food was okay but there's betting in Sienna...Porri One was exceptional
