We had dinner here- our family all loved it! Ravioli with sausage & truffle cream!!! Delicious, house wine and home made bread ... Fantastic value, the staff even spoke English after our poor attempt at Italian... We'll be back!

After a week in Italy we were starting to think all restaurants had the same menu. Then we found Giovannino outside Assisi. They had a large selection on the menu and everything we had was delicious! The bruschetta, polenta, and pork sausage were all excellent. We wish we had found is place sooner-we definetely would have gone multiple times.

Had fantastic food here last Wednesday evening and the service was great also. So went back again on Thursday !! Best food we found. Not over priced. Quality food. Great homemade pasta. They also have an exceptional wine list and can advise to suit. Probably the best restaurant t in the area.

We've eaten at de Giovannino on three different trips to Italy. The meats are cooked over a wood fire and everything we have eaten there has been tasty. It's family run and most of the clientele seem to be from the local area.

This is a gem, family-run, casual restaurant, just 4.5 k outside Assisi on hwy 444. There is a very good house wine, but the wine list is also fine. The "cold cuts" plate for first is very large. Very good food, nice atmosphere, although you wouldn't say from outside, and price honest. Recommended.

Fairly basic surroundings but an above average meal for the price range and a little bit more adventurous menu than the other restaurants/trattoria in and near Assisi.
