Not what you would expect in the town - truly a little wine bar with a very warm owner - Nila. She was very pleasant, wines were good and had some cheese and salami's as well. Nice place to stop after a long day of touring and Nila was very accommodating.

We have been in Assisi for two weeks and keep coming back to our favorite spot "Bibenda Wine Bar". We are always welcomed by the beautiful, sweet owner, Nila, introduced to the most interesting people, and enjoy the best wine and music while taking advantage of free wifi. It's definitely worth a try. Bibenda might just be your favorite too!

We visited Bibenda for a wine tasting on May 7, 2013. This place has great atmosphere and a wonderful selection of wines. Nila took us through a very informative and most enjoyable wine tasting. Thanks Nila and Bibenda for one of the best evenings of our tour!

Wonderful selection of wines. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Filled with fellow wine enthusiasts Would highly recommend stopping by after dinner.

My love and I spent some time in Assisi and ended up at this lovely Wine Bar.. thanks to the kind & pretty owner, we had such a nice & relaxing time after a long day of traveling... A must to try if you go to Assisi! Wine&Cheese..Wow&Cheers :)

This place has overpriced and mediocre wine, and they keep trying to sell you things during your time there! This June we will be in Assisi again so we must go back to Bibenda Assisi! The last two years we have been to Bibenda on our visits to Assisi and we will definitely return to see Nila. She is wonderful and the wine and food are fantastic!! So the third time will be the charm. Love you Nila!

I had come from New Zealand and this place had the best hospitality I have seen on my trip. Nila was amazing and speaks very good English she made me feel very welcome with good conversation. She also recomended a great wine called Monastero San Biagio which is a great organic wine locally produced. I have tried many wines around... More
