Reserve your table - there are not that many and they are quite squashed together. But for a meal out in a Swiss Bistro, this will be a winner: fondue, charcuterie, salads, lake fish, etc. Nice wine selection and helpful, if busy, staff. Daytime parking around the neighborhood is a bit of an issue, to best catch the bus if... More

A delicious fondue (cheese), great and friendly service. A "must go" if you're in Geneva. Not centrally located but worth a detour. Reserve if going thu, fri or sat.

I have been here 3-4 times and it is not bad. It is ok for going out with colleagues at the end of the day if you want typical Swiss mountain food, such as cheese fondue. This is not a place for gastronomic cuisine. Service is good.

An excellent fondue, the best in Geneva. The fendant wine tastes horrible at first, but once you start eating the fondue with it, it's delicious. Great atmosphere, fun waiters.

Saturday night; quite a crowd, but they happily took my reservation for just 1, and seated me promptly. A fun menu, with several local specialties for befores, 6 salads which can be served in half-portions, then the fondues, then some meats, and then a few specials. The specials on the night I was there were all Spring-related, mostly having to... More

We went to this restuarant last Sunday after hearing so much about its Fondue from so many friends and we did not get disappointed. We had called earlier to book our table and were given a warm welcome and guided to our table when we arrived there.. We ordered for Fondue, Green Salad and Lamb. It arrived pretty quickly and... I like this restaurant very much. The fondue is good and speacially the malakoff, which is only served during the night. I liked the pave de beuf as well.

I've been to Café du Soleil at least a dozen times over the years. I've had some killer fondues there, and great salads, but on occasion - like 1 out of 3 times - the service will falter and/or the food will not be as good. For whatever reason on occasion the overall quality drops - maybe when the main... More

On a snowy night, it looked bright and warm and welcoming. Inside is a bustling, noisy, fun place with slightly rustic decor. Good service from friendly waiters. Starters of thinly sliced jamon was delicious as was the fondue to follow - one pot shared among three was just right. Most of the group had steak of one sort or another... More
