I have eaten Ethiopian cuisine several times in various cities, but this one was the best experience so far! Place is very authentic and food delicious. Also my less than 2 year old daughter enjoyed the food (they asked us beforehand how spicy the food should be and made it mild so that she could also enjoy it). Service was...

We have found this place here on Tripadvisor and, since Lausanne was on our way home, decided to try something new.
First impression was rather nice, the guy serving for us (probably, the owner) was very friendly. There were around 10 African people sitting there and chatting - they looked like friends of the owner (they were rather nice too...

What a cool new experience in a fun new town. First time in Switzerland and first time eating Ethiopian cuisine. The owner is super friendly and the food is delicious. Right price, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. Be prepared to eat without utensils. Bon Appetite!
If you are looking for something special, don't hesitate! Very good food at an affordable price. Try the menu to have a great introduction to ethiopian cuisine. The owner is very friendly. Recommended for a special dinner!
The food was great, the dish for 2 is a great way to get introduced in etiopian cuisine. It may bother you that you dont get utensils, but we found it to be very autentical experience. The owner was very pleasent too. We recommend it! And the price is reasonable, menu for 2 for 45 chf
I went here purely on the basis of it's No. 3 position on TripAdvisor Lausanne.
While the food definitely lived up to expectation, the packed restaurant was waited upon by only one waiter and one waitress. So be aware that service will be slow if it's busy! They also don't take card.
We had the Tasting Menu for 4 (CHF...

First of all let me start off by explaining a bit about Ethiopian/Eritrean food. I've read other reviews of this restaurant and actually laughed out loud. If you're not up to the challenge of trying different foods and by extension gaining a small insight into a culture, then avoid exotic cuisine... to Mitra G, you didn't receive cutlery for your...

We were looking for something different for our dinner date and were delightfully surprised! Yes, you eat with your hands (more specifically, you grab the food with bits of bread.) But I found it amusing and the food was very good. Spicy, but not "burn-your-mouth" spicy. Staff was very friendly and explained that if we liked anything we could just...

We didn't realise that they'd had a lot of damage done to the restaurant recently but we very happy to find that the inside had been completely refurbished and they'd lost the noisy TV. Food was excellent and 45 francs for two people might just be the best value in town.
Nice crowd of people outside, hope that business picks...
