Located on the Singel canal, this rather small cafe offers a great breakfast for 7.95 Euros. Two choices at that price but the food was tastier and less expensive than the hotel breakfast by half.

Love this place and I make sure I visit every trip to the dam!try the cheese omelette :) it's always packed but hang around outside and get ready to pounce!extra table outside during warm weather helps!!try it!!!
I had breakfast here on two days. The food is exceptionally fresh, tasty, and ample at a very reasonable price. My breakfast included many slices of ham and cheese a very fresh salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, croissant, large roll, coffee.
small, cornershop, few seats, almost no table...but a lot of delicious meals for the guests.
the place is quite small, as i said, but food experience is really worth the stop.
lots of variety to choose from - "healthy sandwiches", normal sandwiches, chicken, salads, fresh orange juice, delicious apple pie...great place for brunch or lunch...
maybe even better to go...

What amazing little place! Lots of different sandwiches to choose from, all absolutely delicious. Good service too. Take-away or eat there, either way so yummy!
We had a cheese roll and a grilled chicken breast sandwich. Both were good sized sandwiches with fresh ingredients that were made to order. It was too chilly to sit outside and by the time we left sitting inside this small place, we smelled like grease from the grill.
After a bad experience on our last trip to Amsterdam we followed Tripadvisor recommendations and tried here for lunch. It was excellent 5 of us ate for 33 euros inc drinks and had more than our fill of excellent sandwiches and homemade soup. Plenty of choice on hot and cold sandwiches and all served with lovely fresh salad. Only regret...

I had an open sandwich with salami, melted cheese, tomato and onion. My partner had a roast beef sandwich - the beef was rare (not what we would have ordered for a cold sandwich) but it...
