Great ribs, great beer, great service .... what else do you need ? We go here every time we are in Amsterdam. The staff is attentive and our sons even though they are young and felt a little intimidated in being in a "bar like" setting were made to feel welcome and enjoyed themselves.

Everything! For the last 20 years excelent day in ay out. Spareribs are superb and the prime-rib is nowhere better to find

Came to the de Klos at the end of April 2013. we came first (opening time is 16:00) and the place filled up very fast. What can i say. Great ribs. The meat peals away from the bones just to melt in the mouth... No sauce is needed. The usual ones are better then the smoked imo.

We have visited Cafe de Klos many times and it is ALWAYS excellent and always a highlight of our time in Amsterdam! As previous reviewers have said, their speciality is ribs and we would definitely recommend just the plain ribs, although the smoked are also nice, just not as amazing as the plain!
