For our stay in Amsterdam we had rent an apartment next door on Keizersgracht, and day after day we saw this place full in the evening. However there was no menu on the street, and no sign with a name, so we were a bit suspicious, and curious at the same time. One day we decided to step inside and... More

The restaurant is placed in the center of amsterdam. The atmosphere inside it's really nice and perfect for a romantic dinner. You can choose only between loubester and tournedos steak and the price quality is good I really suggest a madium rare tournedos! Everything is accompaigned with home made fries ! More

Loved this place. The tenderloin beef is maybe one of the best i have ever had. Tasted the lobster as well, and this was good. Super nice place, but hard to find. You really need the address and a good map or gps (bring your iPhone). Be sure to book a table as i witnessed many people trying to get... More

We made reservations in advance for a window seat for our wedding anniversry, The restaurant was lovely and packed. You must book in advance! The steak looked very good~ we live in Omaha, so rarely order steak while on holiday. We had the lobster & it was very good. It was served with salad & Fries/ Frites (of course) and... More

Red serves a really good fillet steak - definitely the best I have eaten in Europe (on par with the Conrad in Bali and Barolo in New York). I love the decor, ambiance, reasonably priced champage, all-you-can-drink water for a fixed price. Red is a restaurant I return to regularly and recommend to friends and colleagues alike. One downside, as... More

My wife and I had a great evening at Red. I chose the steak with bernaise and she chose the lobster with the chef garlic butter sauce. The steak was the best we have had anywhere in Europe, tender and perfectly cooked. Our table was not ready at the reserved time however the host made us feel welcome with a... More

Had a great steak meal - but I'm from Alberta where a great steak is a basic expectation. Red also had a delicious wine selection and the most incredible desserts too...we had the lemon tart which came with a small glass of dessert wine. We arrived at the restaurant around 8 and were very lucky to get the last non-reserved... More

Last night we had a wonderful meal at Red. As other reviewers have mentioned, they offer only two options - lobster and/or steak. We opted for the lobster with the herb butter sauce.. What a treat - it was absolutely delicious! It was accompanied by French fries with homemade mayonnaise and a delightful green salad dressed with balsamic vinegar and... More

It's simple, 2 dishes, that's all they do: Lobster or Steak. Both are served in 2 different sauce. Or you can ask for a Surf & Turf (both in one dish), or have the lobster as starter, and steak as main. They both come with a salad and chip & mayo. We all had the lobster and it was a.m.a.z.i.n.g!!... More

Chose this restaurant on the strength of its reviews with trip advisor .. So thank you to you all! Short walk from our hotel, please note it is situated on the corner, and just to confuse you, has no number of name above the door. The door is actually the corner of the building. Inside is is black and lime... More
