This is one of the oldest pubs/restaurant in Gouda, you can feel the scenery and the food is okay. Service can be better, but overall I can advice you to go there!
We liked the character of this Cafe, it still has that "Grand" feel to it. We stopped in for lunch and had their special soups. One was fish chowder, it was delish. The other was fresh asparagus soup with a nice twist of bacon and cheese added, creamy and yummy! Very friendly service, we will definitely go back there!
A lovely cafe with friendly staff and a lively interior. Just off the main square, this cosy and traditional Dutch cafe provided a perfect spot to have a generous lunch, at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend.
Have had lunch here on a regular base, is always crowded in this place but not annoying. Meals are great and the know how to make a good cappucino. You must try the appelcake, freshly baked and very yummie
