We like family own, not tourist places to eat and we found lots of great dining all around Place St Catherine both in front of the church and behind it along the little canal. There was great outdoor dining behind the church on the water serving fish and most everyone was a local. Across the square from the Noordzee Mer... More

We were based around the corner from the Nordzee and although we had already read reviews and pre-planned to drop by for some lunch, the fact that it was surrounded daily by locals seeking brunch/lunch/dinner ensured that we were always going to visit. We eventually called at Saturday for a late lunch and although it wasn't overly busy we felt... More

Love the concept, the atmosphere, the food, white wine and champagne, the staff. You should absolutely go there for apetizer or lunch. Not open by night.

Worth searching for this place. We called at lunch time and it was very busy but staff were quick to take our order. You are handed a pack with cutlery and a napkin and your drinks and then you wait for your order to be called. We ordered scampi and prawn croquettes which were delicious. You eat standing up at... Superb food and great service. We visited here on a Sunday lunch time and although it was getting busy we didn't have to wait long for the first dish. Whilst you wait they provide you with a basket of bread, of which there was plenty for 3 of us! Unfortunately as the other 2 dishes were being brought to us... More

Fun cafe with lighthearted staff: "I'm a little man and so speak a little English" The food is tasty, not exactly inexpensive and you do have to stand at tables to eat, but we're glad we went, and would stop by again - especially if you would like a quicker meal.

We went to this seafood counter on Saturday at around 11-ish 12 for an early lunch. There were already quite a lot of people crowding at the counter at this time but we managed to get a standing spot quite near to the grill. There are no seats so the meal is taken at one of the standing tables littered... More

One of the excellent places for a quick stop for fresh sea food tasting and aperitif. A tuna grilled steak is a most. It is not that economic but worth the try.. Enjoy

It is all about the seafood at this wonderful little find. The seafood is always cooked perfectly and so fresh its like it jump right out of the sea onto your plate. Was in Brussels for a few days and visited this place twice. If you love seafood go here
