It took us a few days to have a meal at Kok au Vin as it was fully booked, which is a good sign. We chose the signature dish which was excellent - local ingredients and lovely flavours. Friendly staff. Would recommend people to have a meal here.

Our hotelier recommended Kok au Vin and we are glad he did. The prix fixe menu was superb and the wine pairings complemented the food well. My husband had the prix fixe and I had the coq au vin. An excellent decision as we were able to share all the courses. There wasn't one dish that we did not find...

Our server was brusque and dinner took over an hour to arrive after our first course. The coq au vin was quite good, but the veal loin was dry and quite over done. There was an issue about serving us tap water -"the boss would not like it". There were no menus in English and explanations were left to our...

Being silly w/ the title but Kok Au Vin was recommended by Thierry our host who run's B&B St. Jacobs. Conveniently located around the corner. Very genuine and friendly service. The waiter and the chef recommended steak and it was cooked to perfection! It was an excellent meal and a pleasant experience for two weary travelers.
Looking for delicious European "almost fine-dining" and great service in a relaxed atmosphere? Look no further, just try to get a table. The set menu was perfect, modestly-priced and with matching wines. Considering the name of the restaurant, I wasn't expecting so much of my main dish fish, but it was heavenly. Definitely a good choice
A little out of the Centre - but well worth the walk. Strongly recommend booking otherwise it would be a wasted trip. Welcoming staff, very comfortable tables, lots of 'locals' and plenty of space between everyone. The team seem to speak all the European languages fluently .....so no worries if your Flemish is a bit weak. Signature 'Coq au Vin'...

The food is fine dining, lovely coq au vin which was very large and tasty. My wife had fish from the specials which was also excellent.
The menu is in Flemish or French but all the staff spoke perfect English and will go through the menu with you, nothing seemed to...

Very good restaurant - price / quality is excellent and we had a nice evening with friends. Is certainly one place to recommend to everyone visiting Bruges. Will certainly be a stayer in the next couple of years.
This was our second visit to this small restaurant and this time we brought our friends. We had the Bib Gourmand menu with wines. Everything was imaginative and delicious and for €60 per person including the wines not over priced.
I went here last night for dinner - I only wanted a main course and glass of wine as I can never manage 3 courses and was glad I missed the starter as they brought bread, prawns and pâté as aperitif accompaniments! Food was delicious - I had their signature coq au vin and it was excellent. House wine also...
