The building (by Gustav Eiffel) is nice, but the market is a bit ghostly, since there are few sellers at work, in a place where you could expect a huge variety of fresh and wonderfull fish. It also has a (somewhat pricy) restaurant. Nonetheless, it is still worthwhile a visit.

VIsited this plce with my parents and a bigger group. Great seafood, especially Arroz de Tamboril! Well worth a visit!

Great fresh fish. We enjoyed a nice meal, but the slow service and unfriendly staff really took away from the experience.

We ordered clams (Ameixoa preta) and they were so salty that we could not eat them and returned them. The shells were big, but the clams small which means that they probably had been fished in winter (with little food to grow) and frozen.
