Tipical portuguese "tasca" with the best and most tender and full of flavour ham sandwiches I ever had.

Tipical portuguese "tasca" with the best and most tender and full of flavour ham sandwiches I ever had.
We were staying at the nearby Hotel B&B and were walking around but getting cold and tired and this little bar was packed to the rafters so we definitely had to try it. The first thing we saw when we walked in was a huge leg of pork on the counter and big juiy slices of pork being carved. We...

One of the most amazing and typical places in porto.... The owners are amazing, really good food and service..., if you come to porto you should visit this place
It's a simple place, with good food, great pernil sandwich, great espadal wine. Familiar service, sometimes, your the one who go get your drinks, but the staff is super nice, friendly and helpful. The place isn't the prettiest, but the people who come there are! Don't miss it, it's worth it!
We were staying at the hotel B&B and Casa Guedes is close so we went there when we checked in at lunch time. When we first got there I thought this can't be the 'gourmet' place because of the fairly run down nature of the square, and the people passing by. I have never seen so many people limping or...

Absolutely worth a visit. The best of portuguese cuisine in a small, unpretensious restaurant. Great for a late lunch with a few friends around a table filled with good wine, great cheeses, hams, sausages, bread and the pork sandwiches are to die for.
Different, great environment, nice for a snack, lovely pernil ...
A good place where you can have a nicely lunch , dinner or just a sunset tapas, with tipical Portugueses gastronomy! Dont miss the excellent table with cheese, "pernil" and "arroz de cabidela" served always with a fabulous wine! You will always be received by a great family staff! In my opinion: "just the best tapas house in invicta's city!"
When entering at Casa Guedes, you are faced with a magnificient stand of Portuguese traditional food and "tapas". All of them are really tasty and a interesting travel in the portuguese gastronomy landmarks. To make the visit more interesting, the food should be accompanied with portuguese wine. The atmosphere is really friendly and everyone feels stading at a friends place.
Eating and drinking in Casa Guedes is a very interesting experience if you’re ever in Porto. On its presentation card you can read “Tradicional e Gourmet” and this is true in a very unique way. It’s not one of those fancy/chic places to which you associate the word “Gourmet” with, it’s a place with a very popular ambiance, customers and...
