Casa Ines was everything we expected from such a restaurant. We were hopping to find a place with local rustic dishes, and it was just that. Simple and tasty food for a fair price. This place reminded me on Rome, and it's numerous "trattoria's", where they prepare nice dishes for lunch break. There are better places in Porto to recommend... More

The food is fresh, well cooked and an authentic taste of traditional Portugal. Warm service completes the experience. Casa Ines is a little hard to find, though (so bring a good map or take a taxi). Prices are slightly higher than the norm, but so is the quality. Locals eat here.

My wife and I had a great dinner there. We arrived half an hour earlier, but the waiter was extremely friendly and allowed us to sit down. We ordered a fish and a roasted pork. Although both of them are 1/2 portion, they're pretty much enough for a meal. The pork (cooked in the Portugese way) is simply delicious! The... More

This was our first evening in Porto and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Casa Ines is tucked away down a difficult to find side street at the Eastern end of Porto. Do not be put off by the surroundings. Inside is an interesting and spacious restaurant. Really helpful staff and, most importantly, delicious local food. We started with... More

Came here for dinner based on tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. The restaurant is lovely, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Reasonably priced. The restaurant is a bit out of the way - we were staying by the Douro and had to take a taxi and our driver had some trouble finding it. The restaurant got... More

The food here at Casa Ines is excellent and the service superb. We were running super late and they were patient enough to keep our reservation and wait for us to arrive. The restaurant has a small parking area just for their clients so that makes things even easier. I recommend this place for future travelers.

Portuguese eat late! Don't be surprised if the restaurant is empty at 7:30 or even 8pm. This restaurant filled up with Portuguese (I think we were the only foreigners) after 8:30 right before our eyes. Despite all this "we're the only foreigners" stuff, the waiter spoke great English. Everything was great...also had a nice sardine appetizer. Lots of cooking with... More

If you are daring and do not mind scary looking food then you will find the octopus delicious. The feijado a bean stew is also an amazing meal. service was good and swift.

The octopus and the tripe were fantastic. Not to mention the deserts. One of the best traditional restaurants in Porto, no doubt about it.
