If you want to have a nice evening with nice people in Chania this is an exellent pub for a chat. . One of the best and popular beaches in Nea Chora, walkable distance from the old port. You get a nice drink and atmosphere and rest your legs before going to eat or whatever you are up to, maybe... More

hideaway by nature. We stumbled across the Hideaway whilst walking the back streets from the beach at Nea Chora to the Old Town. It's an excellent watering hole and there is always a warm welcome from Roxy, the new owner. Although we didn't eat there the food that we saw looked good.

John and Gloria, owners of Cafe Vafe in Xania (Chania) is where the hub of excellent food, entertainment and hospitality greets you with every visit. My favourites are the Friday night curry nights, acoustic jamming sessions, film nights and sportsnight on Sky. Great hosts in a great location!

Comfortable and friendly. Tucked away in the side streets of Chania you stumble in and enjoy good old fashioned English hospitality, food and drink whilst surrounded by the typical everyday greek relaxed lifestyle. The English breakfast is brillant and will help you overcome any hangover. Your hosts John and Gloria make sure every guest is happy. Open Jam nights for... More

Much as one goes on holiday to get away from the familiar and the humdrum, just occasionally one wants something people rarely cook at home these days and that's a good, old-fashioned full English breakfast! Don't be bamboozled into thinking your hotel or bed and breakfast will be able to provide the necessary to an acceptable standard, even though they... More
