We turned off the main road on our way to Phaistos, following the sign for the taverna, and easily found this splendid place. A warm welcome from the owners, excellent homemade and often homegrown food, in a lovely garden with flowers and fruiting trees. We are recommending it to all our friends and family.

You will always receive a warm welcome from Alekos and his wife Sabina. A friend introduced us to this hidden secret in Vori. Excellent Cretan food was served to our table covered with bright white damask tablecloth. The "Special of the Day" were "Fresh Manitaria" (Mushrooms) baked in the pan with fresh parsley and garlic.
