I had a wonderful lunch here, having the entire restaurant to myself (it was just before tourist season). I enjoyed a nice crisp white wine with a mix of fried sardines and calamari - perfectly cooked and seasoned. The proprietor came out and chatted for a bit and then offered me the obligatory dessert and several shots of raki.

The food is absolutely fabulous, the waiter one of the nicest I've ever met. Follow his recommendations! We went here three times in two weeks, and had a great experience every time.

An excellent service in one of most reputable fish restaurants in Rethymnon. You will not meet any "guest hunters" in the front of restaurant - they don´t need it. Prices are very reasonable, cheaper then in other restaurants in surroundings. I can recommend the house white wine too. Food tips: fresh fishes, mussels in wine sauce, octopus, dakos salad.

Considering that this restaurant is in a prime location on the Venetian Harbour, the cost of our meal compared very favourably with other restaurants that we visited. Great food, great People. Spending 7 days in Rethymnon we had lunch there 6 times. One day we went to meat restaurant recomended by Zefyros's owner. We tried almost everything, and without any hesitation we can recomend all of that - especially shrimps saganaki Hope there will be another chance to visit them.
