I looked and looked for a romantic setting for my husband's birthday. To make things more complicated, we are finicky American eaters. This place was perfect...it has the most attentive staff, attractive and comfortable setting, and delicious food. The warm chocolate dessert with valilla ice cream was yummy, as was the sea bass and my husband's peppar steak.

Been to Peppar Peppar several times, know the owner personally and know that he always demands high standards from his personnel. The past couple of times the standards were not as good as previous visits but still very good.

The restaurant serves good food and have fast and good service. The wine selection are average but quite ok. There are som better restaurants in Uppsala, but not many.
