We had a five-course menu full of culinary magic, with perfect wine pairings, and knowledgeable, friendly and charming service. The atmosphere is very spartan, but the view of the harbor is nice. All in all, if you like nouvelle cuisine with a Nordic twist, this is it.

I had amazing 7 course menu with perfect wines. Food and wine combinations were extremely well conceived. The dishes were most surprisingly served. Greek sallad with feta curd, Red king crab with avocado terrine, and for a dessert sweet cauliflower paste with nutmeg ice cream, to mention a few. I truly recommend to take the suggested wines with your menu.

Odd 10 "small urprises" from the kitchen and 5 course menu with wines. Excellent restaurant. Menu changes every 6 weeks. Selection is only up to 7 or 8 dishes covering everything from starters to desserts, but it is worth it. Difficult to find (2nd floor), but obviously the point is not to collect bypassers. You have to book in advance.

As you can expect food and service is TOP10 in this restaurant. Wines and stories told by Mika Mattila are excellent. Restaurant it self was so minimalistic that I lost my fengshui at down stairs lobby that is or was Helsinki city officers bureau entrance. Address is now days Katariinankatu 1.
