Great little fish predominately little "caf". Wouldn't go so far to call it a restaurant, as part of the Kauppahalli inside market in Tampere, but great little place where for once finns don't seem to mind being in close proximity to each other in public :-)

Went for lunch here today with family. Choice of three mains was excellent, catering for fish & meat lovers and also vegetarians. Service was quick and came with a smile (unusual for Finland) and the staff provided a high chair and child sized cutlery for my 1 year old daughter without me asking. The food came and was excellent. Amazing...

Located in the market hall, this very small restaurant offers very good and surprisingly cheap meals. Plus, the menu is written in several languages, and the staff speaks a perfect French. The only "-" is that there is not a lot of space to sit and eat, but I believe this is normal as every square meter of the market...

A restaurant with a great smalltown atmosphere in the market hall. Serves food made of fresh ingredients. Open only when the market hall is open, making this a high quality lunch restaurant.

NothIng is wrong. Service is great. Atmosphere beyond imagine. In the middle of busy Kauppahalli, THE FOOD plays the main role in this play, you can forget everything what happens next to you. Extremely fine dining at low cost, this restaurant beats all the rest in many ways!

French restaurant in the Kauppahalli is serving delicious food from fresh ingredients with an excellent price to quality-ratio. From the few fixed items on the menu, the fish soup is excellent. On the other hand, the daily specials are usually excellent and cheap.

The place is tucked in the back of an indoor market. It's opened only up to 16h00, so don't aim to go there for dinner. The market itself is a sight.
Day's menu is put up on a blackboard above the counter. All in Finnish, of course. The Finns are so helpful and good at English that you can ask...

Ain't nothing better than simple, rustic food and that's excatly what we got from 4 Vuodenaikaa! I loved the French fish soup (though I spotted only one kind of fish in it..but who cares when it's as fresh as it can be in an inland town and so very tasty!) and could have licked the plate if I had dared....
