We had a wonderful evening in Costas on the recommendation of a Cypriot friend. We were treated to delicious food, friendly service and all at very affordable prices. Go visit!!!
Lovely local taverna, and great in winter, has a lovely log fire in the middle of the restaurant. Good food, friendly owners. Shame the music is a little loud! Kept saying saying we would try it for ages and now we have its a must go to every time we are in Cyprus! Pork chop was delicious last time!
There is nothing to fault about this lovely Taverna. We will definitely return. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The sheftalia was delicious, the best I've ever tasted. The service was polite, friendly and we were attended to very well.
We recently ate here (July 8th) and turned up without a reservation. No problem fitting us in - all eight of us. The food was excellent and really good value - to top it all we got two litres of wine free! We had a variety of the menu including fish, kleftiko, stifado and moussaka and all was really well... We shared a Meze here. At 17 euros it was slightly more than some of the other Tavernas in Peyia, however you did receive a free Carafe of village wine so works out the same sort of price. Food at Costas was lovely- i really recommend the Sheftalia- possibly the best ive had on the island. Service was very polite and english was beautifully spoken. Warm welcome and local food- winner!
