It was a new experience to look at a large line-up of open-faced sandwiches and then point, pay and eat them standing up. I think we had 7 or 8 different types between them, and each one was as good as the other. It was a great place to stop to refuel while shopping, and it was really reasonable too.

Take a "Pfiff" beer (ca. 0,2 l) an a few breads. Like it. A institution right in the heart of the city. Not cheap (what is?)

If you want open-topped egg sandwiches, fair enough, this is the place to get them. It's a bit samey once you've had a plateful. I don't think I'd search it out again, it's more of a novelty than anything else. Mind you, a good egg sandwich is sometimes just the ticket!
