Deceptively small from the outside, this was a typical country pub, busy, friendly and the food was certainly value for money. The busy bar showed how popular this pub is, even though it is not surrounded by housing. Hope to visit again.

We had a lovely meal here last Thursday! I had garlic mushrooms followed by fish pie and both were lovely!! Easily the best fish pie I've ever had!! Very yummy!! Very reasonably priced too! Will definitely go back if in the area again!

If you have a hound,this is the place to eat. Bill for four (3 courses each plus drinks) was a little over £100 and very good value with a varied menu. Excellent food and great service. Dog was given a window box seat with cushion for head,dog biscuits and a sausage ! Would thoroughly recommend.

All the staff were very friendly,nice atmosphere and definitely loverly food.the food comes so quickly and all cooked fresh,you are welcomed with opened arms and a nice pint of beer well or wine so definitely go there!!!!!!
