No real complaint, but certainly not a meal to remember. Ambiance is great Asia the the service. Sadly the food is very ordinary indeed. Wife had a pasta and commented that it lacked any real flavor while my pizza ranked alongside a take out....with respect to a take out. Filled the gap is I guess best I can say.

Wonderful rustic ambience; friendly staff; good food. would recommend this restaurant to others. The restaurant is on a side street which is pedestrianised. the restaurant is set well back from the street so may be problematic for those with any mobility issues.

Lovely place, could'nt fault, felt like I went though a tunnel and ended up in Italy. Beautiful fresh food servied very quickly at great value. The owner had plenty of stories which gave a personal touch.

Old style Italian restaurant with long menu and typically Italian service. The food is acceptable if a bit pricey but unfortunately the decor and the attitude are overdue for modernisation.

We visited the Villa Positano last week after reading the excellent reviews on trip advisor. It certainly lives up to those reviews. Last year we had a lovely meal at this restaurant. the staff were friendly and helpful. What a difference this year. The tomato sauce for my pasta was non-existent. My husband's lasagne was acceptable but there was some weird dressing on the salad which made it inedible. Our bill was £37.00 for pasta/lasagne and 2 small glasses of house wine.... More

We try to visit the restaurant every time we go to Bowness and as usual the food and service was excellent.

Visited on a bank holiday monday for dinner after reading reviews on TA. Did not book as the town was very quiet maybe due to bad weather.
