This restaurant was recommended by the manager of our B&B and we had a great experience there - the food was uniformly excellent and the maitre'd/waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. We went on a Wednesday early-evening and were seated immediately but the place did fill up later. I recommend the creme catalan for dessert!

We had a lovely dinner here, eating beef fillet and pulled pork. Both was beautifully presented and very tasty. It is a small restaurant with a central location in Bowness. We were very well looked after.

Popped in here on the off chance that they had a table after 3 rejections elsewhere- really happy they did. Small quaint restaurant with lovely attentive staff. The food was fab - I had belly pork and my partner had the chicken with butter beans and chorizo. All was delicious and very well presented. Can't fault it.

After reading some good reviews on this very site, we decided to try this place out shortly after it opened on a Sunday evening. We decided to get in early as it was the Sunday before a Bank Holiday. As there were only two of us we managed to get a table without a reservation. After a very busy day,... More

We'd travelled to Bowness and got there late on a Friday night. 2 restaurants had already turned us away but the waitress welcomed us into Roberto's and set up a table for us. The food was lovely and nothing was to much trouble for the waitresses, they were really nice ladies. Would definitely go again :-)

We decided to try this place after walking past a view times, we got there just after they opened at 6 & greet by two friendly female staff. The choice was varied and all looked amazing, the food was so fresh and well cooked I could have sat & ate everything from what kept coming out the kitchen to other... More

We ate here on a friday night and found it to have a really pleasant atmosphere and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. To start i had the goats cheese, which was served on a toasted garlic muffin with a really tasty dressed salad, the portion of goats cheese was huge and it was cooked to perfection. Absolutely... A fabulous bistro offering excellent value for money, we found the food and service excellent and were not surprised to learn tah the chef/owner prepares all the sauces and dishes himself, we can't wait to go back
