The first impression when you walk in is......"a good example of a typical Devonshire pub". Yeh, nice, good atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff. Good landlord. The food arrived very quickly . A very generous, delicious portion of pie, Chips and peas and piping hot.

This was the first visit since they changed from table service to carvery. Table service was more enjoyable. It has altered the atmosphere and will continue until at least the end of the summer holidays. Please go back to table service.
