I really wanted to try 'the best burger in New Zealand' but sadly it wasn't open when we went here. Next time ..... I will check opening hours first.

The best lamburgers, best breakfast sandwiches ('birds fart'), best coffee, you name it!
I've eaten at many, many groumet trucks in California, but never have I tasted anything better than the lamb-burgers at FatTuie in New Zealand. Even better than those at other restaurants in New Zealand. Just the fact that the make everything from scratch and put their heart...

We found out about the Fat Tui as most tourists seemed to--recommended by our hostel owner, Water Taxi operator, other tourists.. well, just about everyone. We weren't quite sure about what to expect when we got there, but one bite into my mussel burger, I knew this was something quite different. I've never really had a burger with so many...

After a long, hard day kayaking and hiking in Abel Tasman, we were hoping for a delicious, filling dinner ... and the Fat Tui did not disappoint!! We were a little hesitant when we first drove up, but this is an awesome place. They serve delicious, fresh made food. We enjoyed a fish and a chicken burger, both of which...

Not much more to say that what a hidden treasure - Great burgers! Be prepared to wait as it is super busy but worth it. Also great to take the time for a stroll around Marahau whilst waiting. Nothing to fault!
After our 4-day hike of the Abel Tasman Track, my husband and I were hungry and Fat Tui filled the spot. The burgers were enormous and delicious. The fries were awesome with the mayo topping. We took our food back to our room because we wanted to have a beer/wine with our meal and they are not licensed - not...

'The Fat Tui' is a one off experience but unmissable. Earthy 'al fresco' greasy finger dining on long tables in a great atmosphere and fish and chips to die for. The whole experience had a laugh a minute feel to it and helpings were as generous as they were tasty
We stayed in Marahau for 3 days and ate all our meals at Fat Tui. The burgers and veggie burgers are the best! They are so huge and ever so tasty that one cant help but come back every time. The young man who owns Fat Tui is very friendly and puts his heart and soul into this terrific place.
After an 11 mile hike in Able Tasman National Park, my husband and I were starving! We came across Fat Tui and it was amazing! Great, fresh and filling burgers! Cool outdoor atmosphere! Only downfall is that they can't serve beers.
With names like Sparrows Fart [breakfast Burger]; Roots, Shoots & Leaves [Vegetarian]; Cow Pat {Beef]; Off the Hook [Fish] to name just a few of these unusually named burgers, you get the idea of this unusual eatery. I have to agree with the earlier posts ---- this is a definite place to visit ---- you wont be disappointed.
