Although I think TA is great for hotels, I can't say the same for the restaurant reviews. I'm looking for good food and Lonely Planet gave this a good review so we tried it. We really enjoyed the food here (especially the lake fish called lavarello, and I'm an Alaskan so I'm particular about fish) and the house red was... More

Came to Menaggio for three nights out of season. Like most of the lake towns, pretty dead, but had reason to be here. This bar with a restaurant attached was a godsend. Ended up gravitating here all three nights. First night quite and the English speaking barmaid Elisa, very helpful and pleasant. Kept the drinks flowing (guess that's her job)... More

Things can get a bit quiet in Menaggio come late October, especially on a cold and rainy day, so it was a bit harder to find anything open for lunch than we expected. Down a narrow street we found this place, and without the benefit of internet access or TA reviews to guide us, decided to give it a try.... More

We've encountered this place by chance when looking for a place to eat in midday, when most of the restaurants around were closed. This place however was open. The food was very good and the personnel was very nice. Also not too expensive. Recommended.

We went twice to this restaurant so it must have been good. Good service. Always busy so maybe book before you go. Good hot food and wel presented.

Popular restaurant always full and when we went a fair few waiting to get a table. Food OK, service fine, prices pretty good. Well worth a try especially if on a budget

Dinner here one warm evening. We sit outside, the waitress is super efficient and friendly. We share a starter of melon and prosciutto (delicious), and then have pizza (excellent), fish risotto (very good) and lakefish (tasty but full of little bones).

We ate here on a wet rainy night so it was busy in the restaurant which added to the atmosphere. My husband chose lasagne and I had the seafood risotto. Both dishes were excellent, well presented and tasty.

The place always seemed busy and the prices were reasonable but yet it didn't deliver. The service was slow and disinterested but the biggest issue was the food. My partner had octopus with potatoes and was sooooo sad to see the tiny portion. It's odd because all other portion sizes seemed ok. My meal was spaghetti with seafood - the... More

We stubbled across this restaurant in the lane way. The food was nice we had a drinks, lasagna and ham/melon for dinner and cost 24euro. Lots of choices for pizza but a bit limited on other dishes.
