The enchanting candle-lit garden decor in the historical setting of Palazzo Murat, and distinguished service (thanks to Arcangelo) did not wholly compensate for some misses in the kitchen during our evening at Al Palazzo. The seafood pasta was everything one could wish for, but the John Dory that followed was overcooked. From the pasta onwards, too much salt overshadowed dishes... More

We lunched at Al Palazzo after doing the amazing 4 hour "Walk of the Gods" along the Amalfi Coast. The restaurant was a sanctuary as it's set in the gardens of the Palazzo Murat Hotel in Positano and is cool, leafy and quiet with music and water features tinkling. We had fantastic service, crisp wines and delicious fresh fare. Loved... More

It is a nice restaurant but temperature can be an issue. Food was inconsistent one if of the fish was over coocked. Nice to come but there could be other options.

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for choosing our restaurant and sharing the experience. Al Palazzo restaurant is in the midst of our botanical garden, the venue is well heated by many gas stoves, we also have an indoor dining area where our guests can decide to move in case they feel cold. This may happen during some Spring evenings. I regret... More

Stopped here for lunch one day on our trip and when you enter the gates you step into another little world. Very soothing atmosphere with outdoor seating! Food and service are great! Will go back!

This is quite different from most of your typical Positano restaurants as it doesn't have spectacular views, that being said the garden setting more than makes up for this and it's a wonderfully relaxing place to enjoy a meal. The food here was very good as was the service. Between us we enjoyed an interesting three cheese starter with white... More

Food was at its best, position is not of the best, but the terrace and restaurant are really great. We did not stay here to sleep but Im sure its up to its name.

The Al Palazzo restaurant is completely outdoors (there may be an indoor portion we did not see), which might be a problem sometimes, but on the evening it was great. The night was a little cool but well-placed outdoor propane heaters made it very comfortable. Our service was exemplary. The wine list gave plenty of choices, and prices were more... More

Palazzo Murat is a lovely hotel. And, Al Palazzo, its restaurant situated in the lovely walled courtyard. It was a very nice, romantic and quiet site for outdoor dining. We had the fixed price menu w/ wine pairings, and enjoyed it tremendously. Lovely evening with just a bit of chill but heaters made it quite nice. Have your concierge make... More

We stayed at the Palazzo Murat Hotel and had no idea the restaurant was so good. We were pleasantly surprised. Out of 5 nights we ate dinner there twice. The wait staff was top notch. The best onion soup I have had anywhere. A must visit if you are in Posiano.

We were recommended to visit Al Palazzo and were quite disappointed by our experience. The food did not meet our expectations, the Lemon Fish Risotto which my husband ordered left him quite unwell later in the evening. The waiting staff were dismissive almost to the point of being rude, in fact one almost threw things at us. The only one... More
