Although the service at this restaurant was friendly and the views stunning, I felt the food was very poor for the price. The caprese salad was made with what tasted like very cheap generic mozarella - inexcusable in this region! My "Aqua Pazza" style fish was very bland and watery. We ate towards the end of the lunch service so... More

Always loved this simple lovely Taverna and never miss a visit every time I'm in Ravello. This time I had the bad surprise of not finding Bruno and the rest of the family there. The Hotel & restaurant changed management and despite the view is of course still the same, the food did not taste the same without the love,... More

After a delightful walk around Ravello and the Cimbrone gardens, what better way to spend a leisurely lunch than on the terrace of this lovely restaurant? Tucked away, as it is, we would have passed it by had we not checked out TripAdvisor before our visit. As so many have said, the view is wonderful and the service very friendly.... More

I thought our views from Positano were spectacular but this restaurant balcony took the prize! Excellent bottle of red wine for only 10 Euros. Very friendly service. We had a joke that perhaps since we were off season the real chef isn't there yet and the host was subbing in for the chef. He disappeared most of the night and... More

Visited Ravello on a day seeing the Amalfi Coast, luckily we were under our own steam as we spent a very leisurely lunch here enjoying the view and food. This restaurant was recommended in our guidebook because of its view! I ordered the crepes, hubby spaghetti with mussels and clams( they kindly just served it with mussels as these are... More

Short stop over led us to this restaurant over looking wonderful views of the coast from a high! Had the lamb good flavor different presentation but hey that's why we try new things. The pasta sea food dishes were also good. Some great samples of different goat cheeses. All in all a nice experience.

KarinRolfer, I am sorry that your experience was not positive. I feel compelled to spend a good words for the restaurant that you are reviewing. "Fritto misto di pesce" is a very typical neapolitan dish and you were served exactly what it is. The name is literally mixed fried fish. They brought you more than one kind of fish and... More

We don't speak much Italian but we try, and we certainly do ok reading a menu in Italian (with a dictionary and asking questions). So I wish we would have had the Italian menu instead of the poorly translated English menu! For instance, "Mixed Fried Fish" is not what you'd think - instead of chunks of fried fish, it's two... The food and service here is amazing! So friendly and welcoming and happy to recommend and discuss what you might eat! The menu is quite extensive! The food is always delicious and reasonably priced in comparison to some restaurants in Ravello. A real treat. The view is stunning. What more could anyone want?

We were only planning to stop and have a coffee, but once seated on the terrace overlooking the southern part of the Amalfi coast on a stormy afternoon, we decided to stay and have a bit of lunch. The bread was fresh and crusty, and with the balsamic and oil for it to bathe in, was delicious. I had the... More
