what a splendid little restaurant, serving good local food at reasonable prices. Its one the locals use so you know you have made the right choice

Very good quality bistro fare. If we had had more time we would have returned for the wood-fired pizza.
Really lovely restaurant with a very French feel. We were the only English people that evening. The proprietor was very welcoming and the food was fabulous. Lovely house wine.Great value for money. Recommend the Soupe de Poisson.
A little cracker that oozes confidence right from its kitchen. I have eaten there 6 times in the last 3 years and the menu is found to be varied and extensive. Vive la gamat
We were treated so well at La Gamate that we returned for three consecutive nights. Every single dish we tried was freshly prepared, delicious and creatively concocted. Even our 3-year old loved every bite! Great service too!

Good value €26 menu, excellent foie gras with fig jam. Parking easy (in evening anyway) at nearby Gare. Service friendly and efficient. Away from main tourist areas, recommended.

I would definitely recommend the place to others. We didn't risk eating in any of the restaurants by the 'plage', as they all looked ridiculously...

Ate here this evening and the food was freshly prepared, beautifully simple in flavour combinations and large portioned. Very laid back atmosphere with no pretense. Child friendly menu's too. The seafood is piece de la resistance, oh la la.
