I visited this restaurant with my family and was very disappointed. The service was slow and the food was basic. We will not be rushing back.

We ate two nights in a row in the lower level bar, and had a wonderful meal both nights. We went early, before 6:30 and had bangers and mash one night and beef stroganoff the next. Excellent food, good service and a pleasant evening.

The establishment was just beautiful. It made you feel like you went back in time. On the weekend though, the service was very, very slow. They didn't have enough staff and they had to run up and down the stairs to serve tables and get food. BUT...I REALLY recommend this place if you aren't in a hurry. The staff were... More

I decided I would take my partner out for a meal in Cobh and from previous reviews on trip advisor I though this would be the perfect place.I arrived at 9.45pm with a slight doubt on my mind that the kitchen would possibly be closed. We were greeted to a very hostile environment and the bar worker at the time... More

Had dinner here last night in the bar as upstairs was fully booked. Gluten free options were not a problem & the food delicious . Would love to return to the trade winds, staff very polite & pleasant !

We enjoyed dinner at Trade Winds. I had a burger and my husband had the lasagna. The lasagna could have been a little better, but overall the experience was lovely.

Called in on Tuesday evening after Easter - 2 adults and 3 kids. Poor waiter looked hassled as we arrived. We weren't sure he wanted us there. However we soon saw why. He seemed to be working out on the restaurant floor on his own. As the restaurant filled up, and it did, he served every single table with courtesy... More
